This child resistant safety cap device for applicator tubes relies on intelligence rather than strength to open it. It includes a base element, a cap, at least one keyway latching system, and at least one spring. The top has a content outlet and an elongated applicator nozzle at the content outlet that extends upwardly. The upper portion includes an applicator nozzle sealing mechanism to seal the applicator nozzle when the cap is in a closed position.
